PATHOS GRAFIE
"Lost memories of meaning"
by Giorgio Segato
Once careful study and perception provided intelligible "meanings"
for things by delving in the realms of experience. Today these meanings
tend to do without direct experience and are based more on tailor-made
and codified mernories, rather than a personal elaboration. We now
live in an era where knowledge and the processes of learning are undergoing
a complete transformation.
The informative aspects required for the efficient and superficial
management and transmission of today prevail more and more over their
cognitive content, making them extremely unstable for fleeting but
spectacular news that makes little impression on the memory. Our memories
are in fact used less and less as laboratories while more and more
is entrusted to machines, computers, electronic processors or the
other automatic and ready-to-use elements that have now invaded every
field (transport, personal computers, cooking, medicine, relationships).
The dream of spending our spare time usefully, by directly selecting
our material or spiritual experiences, becomes completely unhinged
by the frenetic speed of our hurried existence, our many commitments,
the accumulated saturation of our surroundings, conversations and
thoughts, atmospheric and acoustic pollution and the poverty of human
relationships.
All this comes to mind when I look at Ademaro Bardelli's paintings
and...

or declared masters. A tranquil Etruscan, he gives his canvases, however,
an alarmed Mettelleuropean expressionism...

THE FIGURATION
by Tommaso Paloscia
The figuration of Bardelli is fascinating and
technique concurs with immediacy in the obstinate quest for analysis
that this way of depicting lite requires from those who explore it
to understand its real authentic images; to offer to our gaze the
results of the research, represented without excess in underlining
dramatic situations; or also of the loving conditions that sometimes
manage to loosen the tensions that have...

A JOURNEY WITHIN THE COLOURS
OF SILENCE
by Elisa Nesi
Going on a journey while one’s body stays
motionless; destination: the space and time of “religiousness”.
But not with one’s feet: this journey is a voyage within. And
not with one’s hands: with one’s thought; such a land
becomes purest gold.
Not crossing the threshold of earthly paradise in order to leave it
as sinners, but intending to enter in order to enjoy its beauty, without
fear of plucking its forbidden fruit, since, this time, it does not
exist here.
It is non-existent, because today man no longer needs a sense of guilt,
what he needs is to reveal himself for what he is, without shame.
Without fear of being wrong, or inadequate, but desirous of revealing
his ideal being to his real being, in order to see that they live
together in harmonious sympathy.
It is hard to find this paradisiacal garden which has the power to...
